Hi, I'm Hannah!

I started working with clay in 2019 after taking a course at Merritt Ceramics near my home in Oakland. My clay practice really took off when a friend lent me her wheel and suddenly I had a home studio and I was hooked. Pottery has become a medium through which I discover life’s lessons—patience, mindfulness, the importance of embracing imperfection, and willingness to not be attached to an outcome.

My ceramics are inspired by the textures and forms found in nature - from fruits and flowers to the ocean and mountains. With simple, organic forms, I create functional pieces that bring tranquility and beauty to everyday life. Each of my pieces is unique and crafted with care and intention.

I also love photography, macrame, embroidery, knitting, watercolor, and basically any other craft I get my hands on. My craft obsession truly took off in the early days of the pandemic - social isolation led to a lot of newfound desire and talent for making things.

Thank you for being here - it is an honor to share my work with you as an emerging artist. Thank you for your support.
